GCC foreign ministers denounced Israeli attacks on Gaza

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers, here to hold a joint meeting with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, denounced the recent brutal Israeli attacks on Gaza, killing a number of people, injuring others and demolishing homes and properties. In a statement, the GCC Ministerial Council demanded the world community to shoulder its responsibilities in safeguarding international peace and security, coerce Israel to stop aggression immediately, hold it responsible of the results of this aggression and asked the world community, particularly the International Quartet to denounce in the strongest words this flagrant aggression. The GCC extended its condolence to the families of the victims and the Palestinian leadership, wishing the injured quick recovery.
