
GCC directors of passport departments concluded Tuesday their 28th meeting in Doha which lasted for three days. Deputy Undersecretary for passports and immigration affairs brigadier Adnan Al-Kanderi told KUNA that that the meeting, held under the chairmanship of Bahrain, focused on boosting cooperation amongst GCC states within the domain of passport control and immigration. Measures to improve and facilitate the transport and movement of GCC citizens within the Gulf region were also discussed during the meeting, said Al-Kanderi. The Kuwaiti participants thanked the Qatari authorities for hosting the meeting.
