GCC secretary-general condemns Syrian regime in Bahrain

Jan2 (BNA)GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani strongly condemned the Syrian regime for perpetrating atrocities against innocent civilians and wreaking havoc on Syrian cities, paying no heed to human and ethical principles or the international human rights law.In a press statement today, he slammed the brutal regime for using airplanes and helicopters to drop "barrel explosives" on Syrian towns, massacring innocent civilian people. He denounced the international community for keeping silent on the atrocious crimes perpetrated against the Syrian people. He urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, stop the bloodshed, protect civilians and ensure relief aid reaches beleaguered Syrians.
