GCC Secretary General holds talks with Yemeni officials to discuss political reform

The GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani held Tuesday a meeting with the leaders of the Yemeni General People’s Congress Party led by Dr. Abdul Kareem Al Ariani. They reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts being made by all parties for political and economic reform in Yemen. They also discussed the efforts being made to hold a national dialogue, based on the GCC initiative. Al Zayani stressed the importance of supporting efforts played on part of both the Yemeni President and the Prime Minister to move with the political and economic reform agenda in Yemen to achieve the demands of Yemeni people for a stable and prosperous country.
