The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and the People's Republic of China held talks at the GCC mission headquarters in New York yesterday. The GCC side was headed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, whose country is the current presidency of the GCC Council, and the Chinese side by Minister of Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi, in the presence of GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two sides in various fields, the situations in the region, and international issues of common concern.
