Head of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, met Saturday with member of EU parliament and Chairman of Konrad-Adenauer Foundation, Hans-Gert Poettering, who asserted his full solidarity with Geagea and his political allies. Poettering met the veteran politician along with a delegation from the foundation. "We shared political viewpoints and convictions based on human dignity and rights, as well as democracy, freedom and lawful regime," said Poettering. "My utmost wish for Lebanon is for every Lebanese, particularly Dr. Geagea, to be able to walk around their country safely and freely...this is one of the simplest rights, but sadly there are terrorists in this country who want to kill souls."
