
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said he and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Cypriot president Nicos Anastasiades planted three olive trees before their summit talks in Cairo today.
In a joint press conference with president Sisi and Anastasiades, the Greek prime minister said that thousands of trees will be planted in Sinai in the near future, to affirm the depth of cooperation among the three countries.
Commenting the Greek official's statements, president Sisi said the three trees came from Greece, adding he was looking forward to planting 3 million trees.
