At least 14 people have been killed and several others injured in separate attacks in Pakistan southwestern province of Balochistan, Press TV reports. In the Mand area of Turbat district, two people were shot dead by unknown gunmen and two others were injured. Another two were killed in Quetta’s Loralai area. Two bullet riddled bodies were found in the Saryab road in Quetta, the Balochistan capital. Heavily-armed gunmen also shot dead four Shia Muslims at the busy Prince Road in Quetta. Also in Balochistan’s Naseerabad and Jhal Magsi, four others, including two women were killed in separate incidents. Despite the Pakistani government's operations against militants and terrorists, they have still been able to spread their influence in various regions of the country, killing thousands of people. Over 35,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in bombings and other militant attacks since 2001 when Pakistan entered an alliance with the US on the so-called war against terrorism, according to local media. Thousands more have been displaced by the wave of violence and militancy sweeping across the country.
