
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain ratified and issued today Law No. 13 for this year, adding a new article (No. 221 bis) to the Penal Code promulgated by Legislative Decree No. 15 of 1976. According to Bahraini News Agency, the new article reads as follows: \"Imprisonment shall be the penalty for any person who incites committing any of the crimes stipulated in Articles (221, 333, 357 and 358) against a member of the Public Security forces or a member of the military personnel of the Bahrain Defense Force, National Guard or National Security Agency publically, but without any consequences resulting from that (incitement).\" The Law, approved previously by the Representatives and Shura councils, will be effective a day after its promulgation in the Official Gazette.
