Palestinian Authority security forces detained two Hamas members in the West Bank on Saturday, the party said. A Hamas statement said two men were detained from the Nablus village of Talluza. One of them, Mohammad Janajra, is a member of Talluza village council, the document said. A computer was confiscated and some money taken from Janajra's house, it said. The arrests came as Hamas and Fatah officials prepared to meet in Cairo in the latest bid to end years of political disunity in the occupied territories. Fatah leader Mohammad al-Nahhal said Saturday a new government is to be announced after a Cairo meeting between President Abbas and Hamas leader Khalid Mashaal. Both factions signed a reconciliation deal in Cairo in May, but it has not been implemented.y
