A Hamas spokesman said Tuesday that Israel has violated the terms of a prisoner exchange deal by recently re-arresting two men released under the agreement. Sami Abu Zuhri called on Egypt, which mediated the October deal to release over 1,000 Palestinians from Israeli jail, to hold Israel responsible for breaking guarantees not to re-arrest those released. Zuhri said the detention of Ahmed Abu Daoud from Hebron on Monday evening, and Ayman Sharawna from nearby town Dura on Jan. 30, were a serious breach of the deal, and warned of \"consequences\" for Israel.
