US Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have exchanged accusations on US foreign policy issues.
Addressing the audience in San Diego city, Clinton said that Trump was unfit to be president and his election would be a "historic mistake".
"This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes," she said, "because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin."
Clinton also commented on Trump’s foreign policy pronouncements, saying "not even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies."
Clinton ended her remarks by arguing that Trump’s proposals, like barring Muslims from entering the United States, "could fuel an ugly narrative about who we are."
For his part, Trump fired back while speaking at a rally in San Jose, California, Thursday night.
"I watched Hillary today and it was pathetic. It was so sad to watch," Trump said, calling it a "political speech" that had nothing to do with foreign policy.
