
Hungary will continue to support Albania on its path towards European integration, Hungarian Ambassador to Albania, Janos Huszar, said in his meeting on Thursday with Albanian deputy Foreign Minister Sokol Dervishaj, according to the Albanian Foreign Ministry press office. Huszar commended Albanian authorities for the country's progress on EU candidate country status. He also presented the priorities of the Hungarian Presidency of Visegrad Group (V4), with the Western Balkans being high on the agenda. Huszar informed of the expected visit of the Political Directors of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group countries - Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia -- to Albania in November.
