Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) started off an aid campaign in various cities of Lebanon for shelter seekers who come from Syria and Palestine. More than 200 Syrian and Palestinian shelter seekers who live in a refugee camp in Tripoli were provided with food, bedding and blankets within the scope of an aid campaign held by IHH and Lebanon Help Foundation for Development. Eymen Selim, the Manager of the Help Foundation for Development told AA that Syrian and Palestinian shelter seekers thanked Turkish people for their relief aid. Selim drew attentions to the ongoing violence in Syria and stated, people who stay in the camp do not think of returning to Syria in soon future. Selim added, the aid campaign of IHH would continue for three days in refugee camps across Lebanon. According to the report of Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees there are more than 350,000 Syrian shelter seekers live in Lebanon.
