
South Korean President Park Geun-Hye met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Thursday, as Seoul explores possibilities of a nuclear project imparting new dynamism to the bilateral relations between the two countries. President Park Geun-hye also held delegation level talks with Prime Minister Singh during which both sides discussed bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest to the two countries, Asian News International (ANI) reported.New Delhi and Seoul, struck a civilian nuclear agreement in 2011 and now the Koreans are very keen on pushing hard to get more nuclear-power contracts in a bid to boost the country’s slowing economy.The daughter of former president Park Chung-hee, who ruled South Korea for almost two decades, Park took over as president in February last year.The visit will expand and strengthen the India-Republic of Korea Strategic Partnership.
