Indian Parliament Speaker Meira Kumar is due to pay a visit to Iran from November 3-6 to discuss bilateral ties and cooperation in meetings with senior Iranian officials.Kumar\'s office confirmed the report on the visit, saying she and her accompanying delegation would visit Iran from November 3 to 6. Those accompanying Kumar include MPs Prabodh Panda, Bijoya Chakravarty, M Krishnasamy, Monazir Hassan, Shivanand Tiwari and Ahmad Saeed Malihabadi. Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) Secretary General T K Viswanathan and Joint Secretary Lok Sabha Secretariat Ravinder Kumar Chadha are also a part of the delegation. \"During the visit, the delegation will call on the Islamic Republic of Iran\'s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and will hold meetings with Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani as well as the Chairman and Members of the Iran-India Parliamentary Friendship Group,\" an official said. The Lok Sabha speaker will also meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Governor General of the Isfahan Province Ali Reza Zaker Esfahani. During the visit, Kumar will unveil the bust of Acharya J C Bose at the Pardis Technology Park in Tehran. A tableau of the Persian version of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore\'s poem on Iran will be presented at the parliament. The delegation will also visit the Kendriya Vidyalaya at Tehran.
