Ten political parties qualified to run in Indonesia's 2014 parliamentary and presidential elections picked their poll numbers on Monday as early conduct of the democratic election in southeast Asia's most populous country. The poll numbers were drawn by representatives of political parties at the General Elections Commission (KPU) office, a statement released by the KPU said. The numbers will help voters remember the parties during the campaign and ballot casting. A total of 560 parliamentary seats will be contested by those parties in 2014, followed by an election of a new president to replace Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono whose two five-year terms will expire that year.
