Injured secretary of Ingushetia’s Security Council Kotiyev dies

Secretary of Ingushetia’s Security Council Akhmed Kotiyev, who was injured in an attempt on his life, died, a source in the republican Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. A VAZ-21099 car, in which Kotiyev and his driver were driving, came under fire at 07:30 Moscow time on Tuesday on the Malgobek-Nazran road near the settlement of Nizhniye Achaluki in Malgobek district of the republic. The driver died instantaneously at the murder scene, Akhmed Kotiyev died on the way to the hospital.
