
An explosion was reported near Erciyes University in central Turkish province of Kayseri early Saturday, Dogan News Agency reported.
The blast took place at 8:45 am (GMT+3) after a vehicle blew itself up near a public transportation bus.
There were wounded people according to initial reports, Turkish broadcaster CNN Turk has reported.
Official statement regarding the cause of the blast has not been made yet.
The blast reportedly took place in front the entrance of Erciyes University campus.
Ambulances have been dispatched to the scene of the incident.
