
Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr is to meet with German Development Minister Gerd Mueller to discuss ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the fields of technical training, renewable energy and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The visit comes after the signing of two agreements worth 112 million euros between Nasr and German Ambassador in Cairo Julius Georg Luy.
Also, the Egyptian minister is to hold talks with German Environment Minister Barbara Hendricks to probe means of fostering bilateral cooperation and supporting development projects, including projects to manage the resources of drinking water, sewage and irrigation as well as slums' development.
During her three-day visit, Nasr is due to visit the headquarters of Siemens AG company and convene with officials at the ministry of energy, economy and finance in addition to lawmakers at the German Parliament " Bundestag" where she will meet with members of the Egyptian-German Friendship Association.
