The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, carried out a second round of non-food aid distribution to the Syrian refugees in Turkey. IOM spokesman Jumbe Omari Jumbe said that the aides included blankets, kitchen kits and shower containers, adding that the provision of basic non-food items, (NFIs), is extremely important especially during the initial settlement stages of the displaced populations. Jumbe said that IOM has evacuated 1,035 national of other countries from Syria, adding that 168 are still waiting to be evacuated. There are currently over 80,000 Syrian refugees in camps in South Eastern Turkey.
