Iran adopts offensive strategy when facing enemies

Supreme Leader’s Senior Military Advisor Major General Seyyed Yahya Rahim-Safavi said on Thursday Iran will adopt an offensive strategy when facing enemies and at the same time retaliate any threats.He made the remark at a congress of army commanders and martyrs in Lenjan, Isfahan province. We expect politicians and lawmakers to retaliate any threats while our international enemies are seeking to put more economic and political pressures on Iran and impose sanctions against it,” Safavi said. He said enemies must consider this as a message because the Iranian army and Islamic Revolution\'s Guards Corps are fully prepared to defend the country as before during the 8 years of war with Iraq. If enemies insist on military actions Iranians will give them a crushing response,\' he said.
