Iran\'s accredited ambassador to Maldives Mohammad Nabi Hassanpour submitted his credentials to Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed on Monday. Stressing the importance of fostering mutual ties, Hassanpour who is Iran\'s ambassador to Sri Lanka, invited President Nasheed and his cabinet ministers to visit the Islamic Republic. He further voiced Iran\'s willingness to enhance ties with Maldives in the areas of fishing, tourism, oil and health. Expressing his satisfaction with the amicable relations between the two nations, Maldives President, for his part, announced his readiness to visit Iran in the near future. He also called for expansion of all-out ties between the two countries.
