Iran and P5+1 to meet in Almaty

Nuclear talks between Iran and P5+1 countries (Five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) is scheduled to be held in the Kazakh city of Almaty on April 5-6. The nuclear talks that took place in Kazakhstan\'s Almaty city on February 26 and 27 were evaluated as \"going forward in a positive direction\" however, no significant progress was made. Uranium enrichment, the right to obtain nuclear energy and sanctions have been on top of the agenda of negotiations for the past 5 years. Iran\'s demand of \"their right to obtain nuclear energy\" is not accepted by other countries. The UN, EU and US impose sanctions on Iran due to the dispute of nuclear energy where one party considers as their red line and the other as their right. Meeting on common grounds is not expected if parties insist on their current attitude in the negotiations to begin on Friday. Iran and the P5+1 countries held talks in Geneva, Istanbul, Baghdad, Moscow and Almaty prior to their second meeting in Almaty.
