Iran expresses concern over developments in Egypt

Iranian Foreign Ministry voiced on Saturday concerns over recent developments and unrest in Egypt, which killed and wounded many people. In a statement, spokesperson Marziyeh Afkham said Iran was "monitoring closely recent developments in Egypt which resulted in killing and injuring dozens of people," and expressed "sorrow to clashes between security and protesters." She called on all groups to exercise self-restraint, and to end dispute through national dialogue.
