Iran and the P5+1 group agreed on Jan. 20 for the start of the implementation of Geneva deal, the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday. The agreement on the date was reached after coordination was made among the parties involved in the nuclear talks, an well- informed source told IRNA. By implementing the deal, the partial removal of sanctions against Iran will start, the source was quoted as saying. In November, Iran and the P5+1 group (United States, Britain, France, Russia, China plus Germany) reached an interim agreement whereby Iran would freeze part of its nuclear program in exchange for limited ease of sanctions which had hurt its economy.
