
A legal and judicial delegation from Iran will visit Lebanon within coming days to follow up the case of twin terrorist bombings in front of the Iranian embassy in Beirut, reported IRNA news agency on Sunday. Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said today that the delegation will include a group of experts from Iranian Judiciary, Ministry of Justice and Foreign Ministry. Twin blasts near Iranian Embassy in Beirut on November 19 killed 25, including Iran’s cultural attach? in Lebanon and left over 150 wounded. Majid al-Majid, the Saudi leader of Abdullah Azzam terrorist group which had claimed responsibility for the attack was recently arrested but died under suspicious circumstances few days after his arrest. The Iranian delegation is to hold talks with Lebanese judicial officials. According to reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is to visit Lebanon on Monday (January 13). Zarif is to discuss major bilateral, regional and international issues in separate meetings with senior Lebanese officials including president and foreign minister.
