
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said that Tehran is after developing relations with Paris, stressing that Iran sees France as an important political and economic partner.
Zarif made the remarks in a meeting held here Saturday with the French Minister of Finance Michel Sapin, who is on a visit to Tehran. During the meeting, they also discussed a number of issues of common concern, according to Iran's news agency (IRNA).
For his part, the French minister said Paris and Tehran have been so successful in their economic relations, adding that his country has endeavored to make the nuclear deal between Iran and the West.
