The third batch of humanitarian aid provided by Iran's Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation (IKRF) has been distributed among deprived and needy families in Afghanistan. The 42-ton consignment of the Islamic Republic's humanitarian aid was distributed among the destitute families to help save people's lives in the war-torn country. The shipment, which consisted of flour, rice, oil, sugar and detergents, was sent to the city of Mazar Sharif in north Afghanistan. According to officials, this was the third consignment of aid to the Afghan poor in the current year. IKRF is also set to hold computer training courses in the country. The Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation has branches in several Afghan cities and thousands of needy Afghans receive its humanitarian aids every year.
