Iran and Thailand\'s top diplomats in a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York explored avenues for the further expansion of relations and cooperation. During the meeting, Iran\'s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi underlined Tehran\'s resolve to further expand relations with Thailand, and voiced Iran\'s preparedness to promote the level of cooperation with Bangkok in all the various political, economic, trade, cultural and scientific grounds. He further cited the two countries\' coordination at international bodies and circles as among other areas for Tehran-Bangkok cooperation. He also described exchange of delegations at different levels as a constructive measure for expediting development of bilateral relations and cooperation. Also during the meeting, the Thai foreign minister underlined the two countries\' cordial ties, and asked for the bolstering and boosting of Tehran-Bangkok cooperation through continued and regular political consultations and follow-ups on the agreements made by the two states\' joint economic cooperation commission and consular cooperation committee.
