Iran and Russia are not holding any talks on supplies of whatever specific types of missile armaments to the Iranian side, the country’s ambassador in Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi told Itar-Tass Wednesday. “We are negotiating on our lawsuit filed to International Court of Arbitration in response to Russia’s denial to supply S-300 missile systems,” he added. Meanwhile, the Ambassador also noted that Tehran was ready to discuss with Moscow supplies of different types of military hardware, including missile systems, if Moscow clearly specified its proposals on the matter. He also said that talks between Iran and the ‘Sextet’ of international mediators on the nuclear program may start already in September. “I don’t see any obstacles to this,” he noted, adding that Iran considers talks with the ‘Sextet’ as the main measure towards the resolution of the Iranian nuclear dossier issue.
