Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran on Monday for the Russian capital, Moscow, where he will exchange views on ways to resolve the deadly turmoil in Syria with high-ranking Russian officials, Press TV news reported. During his stay, the Iranian diplomat is scheduled to meet with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, who is also President Vladimir Putin’s Middle East envoy. Amir-Abdollahian and Bogdanov have in turns been hosting bilateral meetings on Syria since the outbreak of the foreign-sponsored crisis in the Arab state in March 2011.
