The Iranian Navy’s fleet of warships, which is now passing through the Strait of Malacca, will enter the Pacific Ocean tomorrow, Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced on Monday. Speaking to reporters, Sayyari said that Navy’s 24th flotilla of warships is now passing through the Strait of Malacca and will continue its voyage in the Pacific Ocean tomorrow. “The 24th fleet, comprised of Khark chopper carrier warship and Sabalan destroyer, will exit the Strait of Malacca and enter the Pacific Ocean tomorrow,” he stated, adding that this will be the Navy’s first voyage in the ocean. Sayyari further announced that the Iranian fleet is also due to visit China’s port city of Zhangjiagang.
