Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar is due to pay a two-day visit to the Republic of Armenia on November 6-7, IRNA reported. Interior Ministry official told IRNA that the visit will take place at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart to strengthen and deepen ties, to follow up cooperation on border security and economic fields. Iran and Armenia keep cooperation on gas, industrial and food exports, construction of power plant and rail roads and also Iran provides Armenia with requirements in different fields. The two countries are following some other important mutual plans such as constructing a Hydro-electric power plant across Aras river, linking the two countries with direct railroad, holding a tripartite talks among Iran, Russia and Armenia to assemble an oil refinery in Armenia, joint investments and creating an organization for developing technical and economic investments.
