Iranian president concludes Sudan visit

Iran\'s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad concluded Monday a one-day long visit to Sudan. During the visit, President Ahmadinejad held talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir on a number of regional and international issues of common interest and joint cooperation in the fields of oil, industry and investment. The two sides in a joint statement at the end of the talks stressed the need for the developing various areas of cooperation of mutual interest on the basis of the principle of mutual respect and national sovereignty within the framework of the international principles and norms.(
