Free Iraqi Bloc (Iraqiya Hurra) MP Alia Nassif has urged Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to contain the demonstrations crisis taking place in a number of the country’s provinces. In a statement issued Sunday, Nassif said that the Prime Minister is legally and ethically responsible for surrounding the demonstrations and withdrawing confidence from the Separatists, al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood as well as meeting the demands of the demonstrators. She also added that dialogue is required to meet those demands with respect to the Prime Minister as an executive authority, demanding the implementation of these demands under the Dome of the House of Representatives to limit the agenda of the Separatists and the Muslim Brotherhood as well as the countries in the region that are trying to destabilize the situation in Iraq.
