
Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki has stressed the necessity to work to boosting ties between his country and Algeria at all levels . During a meeting here on Saturday with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, now visiting Iraq, Al-Maliki said that Iraq attaches special importance to its relations with Algeria , pointing to the substantial convergence in the policy of the two countries towards the Arab and international issues . For his part, Algerian Foreign Minister called for increasing cooperation and coordination between the two countries at all levels . The Algerian Foreign Minister has arrived in Baghdad earlier today on an official visit to Iraq.
