Iraqi representatives discuss crisis with UN official

A delegation from the Iraqi Al-Sadr front headed by Mustafa al-Yacoubi discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi crisis with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General (SRSG) for Iraq Martin Kobler in attendance of the Head of Ahrar bloc Baha al-Araji. According to a statement by al-Araji\'s office Monday, the delegation carried a message enclosing an explanation of the political crisis in Iraq as well as the role of al-Sadr and political blocs in overcoming obstacles and releasing the country from its tensions. Al-Araji underlined in the statement that the visit to the UN headquarters aims to deliver Muqtada al-Sadr\'s message to the Secretary-General in explanation of the current state of affairs. He added that many indicators have been found on the government work\'s role and some negatives in its performance.
