Commander of Bushehr Province Revolutionary Guards’ Imam Sadeq Brigades said here Wednesday Islamic Awareness movement is expanding independent from both east and west among regional countries. IRGC General Sardar Fat’hollah Jomairi who was speaking at the opening session of the 2nd International Islamic Congress on Resistance Poetry added, “The movements in regional countries are cause for pride and grandeur of the world Muslims.” According to the IRNA correspondent in Bushehr, the IRGC provincial commander further reiterated, “In the past, one who intended to be a revolutionary, or a political activist became a member of one of the political parties and religions were considered to be the opium of the nations, but today, the Islamic Awareness movement of the nations has proved the fact to the world nations that religions provide answers to the human societies.” The Sardar General added, “Today the United States is on declining slope and its life bottle is in the hands of the regional countries’ Muslim nations.” He meanwhile opined that the 2nd International Islamic Congress on Resistance Poetry is a cultural event, adding, “Today the wave of Islamic Awareness has encompassed the entire regional countries and organizing of this congress, too, has provided a golden opportunity for all of us, to further strengthen and promote that great wave with the resistance poetry.” Commander of Bushehr’s Imam Sadeq Brigades concluded his address arguing, “Poems are among the exalted frameworks of art with very high and unique epical potential.” The three-day 2nd International Islamic Congress on Resistance Poetry which began its cultural activities in Bushehr on Wednesday November 2nd, will conclude on Friday November 4th, 2011.
