Hundreds of leaders and members of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine and the families of the detainees performed Friday noon prayers in a tent in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza, in support of and solidarity with the prisoners who staged the \"Battle of the Empty Intestines\" in the prisons of the Israeli occupation. In a speech to the demonstrators Dr Mohammad Al-Hindi, politburo member of Islamic Jihad said that the negotiations between the detainees and the prison service has come to a deadlock, as the prison administration circumvents the just demands of the detainees who have nothing except their intestines to fight with. Al-Hindi meanwhile paid tribute to all the detainees in the prisons of the occupation who are fighting the battle of the empty intestines for the eleventh successive day to restore their usurped rights.
