Global Vision 2000 is calling for wider support to express interfaith solidarity with the Occupy London campaign opposed to the world’s financial system. Managing director of the UK-based Islamic think-tank, Moeen Yaseen said that it was “indeed heartening to see young people and members of the public seek to occupy public space in London to protest against the banking and economic system chaos.” His interpretation of the campaign, which is part of a global movement, is that it could be the “spontaneous start of a grassroots movement seeking the Universal Paradigm shift”, which Global Vision has been advocating. The Occupy London campaign entered its third day Monday with hundreds of anti-corporate greed protesters opposed to the global economic system remaining encamped outside St Paul’s Cathedral, adjacent to the London Stock Exchange. In an interview with IRNA, Yaseen suggested that the campaign be supported by global monetary reform movements should to provide “intellectual muscle and firepower”. “The time to connect with the \'British street\' has come and offers an opportunity for those seeking a Universal Paradigm shift,” he said.
