Israel’s army gave a green light to its troops to carry on strikes on Gaza as long as no diplomatic talks on a ceasefire had occurred. Online page of Israel’s “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper reported IDF Chief of Staff, Benny Gantz, late Tuesday as authorizing strikes on dozens of Gaza targets and instructed commanders to “carry on as if there is no diplomatic dialogue.” He told Radio Israel that the ongoing ceasefire talks in Egypt are not affecting their military offensive on Gaza. The IDF said it is stepping up its assaults on prominent Hamas governmental facilities, and most painful blow yet to be dealt.
