Israel has reportedly asked the United Nations to dismiss one of its Jerusalem officers for posting inflammatory material on the Internet. Israel requested the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, fire Khulood Badawi for anti-Israeli activities, Fox News reported Saturday. Badawi posted a photograph on Twitter showing a bleeding Palestinian child with caption: \"Palestine is bleeding. Another child killed by Israel. Another father carrying a child to Israel,\" the American broadcaster said. Israeli authorities say the Palestinian girl did not die in an Israeli air strike in Gaza as Badawi claimed, but was killed in a car accident in 2006, the report said. Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor wrote to OCHA Under-Secretary General Valerie Amos demanding Badawi be dismissed for her actions. Amos, however, said while it is regrettable that Badawi posted false information \"the opinions expressed in her tweets in nor way reflect the views of OCHA nor has it been sanctioned by OCHA,\" Fox News said. Amanda Pitt a spokeswoman for OCHA said Badawi will remain employed pending an internal inquiry. Fox said OCHA and Israeli officials will meet Monday Israel to discuss Badawi\'s activity.
