The Israeli occupation authorities decided to partially open the Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing with the Gaza Strip on Thursday to allow the entry of dozens of trucks loaded with goods and humanitarian aids in addition to pumping limited quantities of cooking gas and industrial diesel to run the only power plant in the sector. Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza\'s Supplies Raed Fattouh said the Israeli forces informed them that they intend to allow 350 truckloads of aids and goods for commercial, agricultural and transport sectors through the Karam Abu Salem crossing. Limited quantities of cooking gas are to be pumped into the sector, he added. Karam Abu Salem, the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza, is closed every Friday and Saturday by the Israeli authorities.
