Israeli FM strike hit consular services

A spokesperson for Israel\'s top diplomat said Wednesday a  strike byIsraeli Foreign Ministry employees at its foreign missions did not halt its consular services, only slowed them down. \"There is a strike at the Foreign Ministry in the past three months. But this is not a strike which completely stop the activities of our office. The strike slowed down the services,\" Yigal Palmor, the spokesperson said. Palmor underlined they had experienced no shortcomings in visits of foreign dignitaries in Israel, adding that the Finance Ministry and the union representing the Foreign Ministry personnel had agreed to hold negotiations with aim of finding a settlement, which he said could take time.
