Israeli forces detained a senior Islamic Jihad leader in the West Bank in a raid on the northern city of Jenin early Saturday, officials said. Soldiers ransacked the home of Sheikh Khader Adnan in Arraba village and took him to an unknown destination, security officials said. Sheikh Adnan has been detained several times by Israeli forces, and was held in PA custody in September 2010. An Israeli military spokeswoman did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
