Israeli forces raided the office of Hamas-affiliated deputies in northern West Bank city Salfit early Wednesday, deputies told Ma'an. Troops raided the office, confiscating computer devices, before searching the home of the office director Izz al-Din Fatash, they said. The Israeli forces verbally requested that Fatash permanently close the Islamic deputies office, the deputies added. They noted that the raid coincides with the expected release of Salfit Islamic lawmaker Nasser Abdul Jawad after Israel held him for 12 months in administrative detention. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was looking into the incident.
