Friday 4th January, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of al-Issawiya, north of Jerusalem and arrested eight youngsters. Member of the follow-up committee in al-Issawiya, Mohammed Abu Hummus, said Israeli forces arrested the two brothers Samer and Mohammad Issa Darbas, the two brothers Sabri and Riyad Daoud Muhesen and Salah Abdul Majeed Darwish. Abu Hummus also said, \"The Israeli forces raided the house of Darbas family, destroyed the main gate, searched the house, rummaged with its contents, and assaulted the family members.\" Noting, all the detainees from al-Issawiya were transferred to Abu Ghuneim interrogation center. Abu Hummus added that the number of the detainees since the beginning of the al-Issawiya arrest campaign started 22 days ago, has risen to 100 Jerusalemites including; a woman, men, youngsters, and children), noting that since the beginning of the year 2013, 20 Palestinians were arrested from the village during clashes and raids. Wadi Hilweh Information Center confirmed that Thursday, the IOF soldiers arrested Mohammad Jamal Attiyah, 19, Ayman Awne Attiyah, 19, and Mahmoud Zeidan, 26. The center also said that the detention of six Palestinians from al-Issawiya have been extended for today, Friday 4th January. The Palestinians are: Mahmoud and Ayman Attiyeh, Karim Jadallah, Thaer Za\'tari, Mahmoud Muhesen and Muneer Mahmoud, who were arrested for throwing stones at the Israeli soldiers, as Israeli authorities claim.
