Israeli occupation threatens to attack Gaza

The Israeli occupation army threatened executing a major operation in the Gaza Strip if the Palestinian resistance factions attacked injuring any soldiers. Israel fears that resistance factions in the Gaza Strip will conduct operations against occupation forces, senior officers in the occupation army said on Israeli television today. The major operation against Gaza is dependent on injuries occurring among Israelis, they remarked adding that they are preparing for a possible retaliation. During the final months of 2008, Israel launched a bloody war against the Gaza Strip lasting 22 days known as Operation Cast Lead, which resulted in the death of 1,400 Palestinians in addition to thousands wounded and the destruction of infrastructure.
