Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu Saturday ordered the army to remove Bab Al-Shams village, built by the Palestinian resistant fighters on a lot overlooking occupied Jerusalem, Israeli media reported. But Hamas warned against the removal of the village, built over southern A1 zone. Israel will ask the supreme court tonight to revoke a ruling that delay the evacuation of the village until next Wednesday. However, Netanyahu, unwilling to wait for the court's decision ordered the army to evacuate the villagers and close all roads leading to the village. Palestinian ministers and senior PLO officials lashed out at the Israeli decision, saying the village was a symbol of resistance. Hamas said the Israeli attempts were a blatant violation of the international conventions. It said the Israeli settlement police "is a failed zionist policy which will not succeed in deporting our people but will boost their commitment to their land and traditions."
